Many people who have no quarrel with its role and purpose express reservations, about the emperor Sellassie’s divinity. Most Rastafarians however readily admit that the emperor would have made human mistakes, but he is looked upon for his role in Afrikas affairs and is a fulfilment of a biblical prophecy. Members of the movement who refuse to deal with political structures must realise that politics controls the existence of the world.
